What I would do is use toggle bolts (image below) and sink them into the studs. WebUse 1 ½ inch self-tapping drywall screws for attaching steel floor and ceiling tracks to joists; use a ½ inch #7 pan-head for the common 25AWG metal studs and a #8 self-tapping screw for the tougher, thicker metal studs. These screws are sturdy, and their heads won’t interfere when you hang drywall.
